Altitude Simulation is designed to create a lower-equivalent-altitude environment in targeted rooms—such as a bedroom—by as much as 7,000 feet. This process is achieved through three coordinated steps: producing, containing, and controlling oxygen.
Oxygen is generated on site using air separation technology and delivered to the room in a consistent, quiet flow. As oxygen levels are carefully increased within the space, nitrogen is displaced and exhausted in a controlled manner. The result is a room-wide environment with adjusted oxygen levels that allows occupants to breathe comfortably and naturally. Each system is custom-designed, with engineers using proprietary computer modeling to determine the appropriate oxygen output based on room size, construction, and air exchange characteristics.
Oxygen is produced using proprietary air separation units that are CE marked and ISO certified. These units are typically installed outside the living space—such as in a mechanical room, attic, or crawl space—to support quiet operation and efficient integration. Effective Altitude Simulation requires more than introducing oxygen alone. Advanced sensors and controllers continuously monitor and regulate oxygen levels to maintain a stable, controlled environment designed to perform as intended.
Oxygen levels are maintained in the room while keeping the air fresh.
Oxygen will try to escape if the room is not well insulated. Our team includes experts in construction who are experienced in both new construction and existing homes. We work with your contractors to ensure that the air in the room is properly contained so you can get the full benefit of oxygen.
Sensors constantly monitor the conditions in the oxygenated room and send this information to the control system.
An integrated network of sensors helps ensure the system operates effectively and reliably. These sensors support altitude simulation, ventilation management, air quality monitoring, and fire safety functions, while helping the system meet recognized industry standards. ACT is the only company offering a room oxygenation system that is UL listed, providing an added level of independent verification.
ACT’s state of the art control system regulates altitude simulation, oxygen levels, air quality, ventilation and fire safety. It detects occupancy and intelligently runs the system for energy conservation. The controller links to your home Wi-Fi to communicate with ACT for monitoring, diagnostics for automatic software updates. It also interfaces with your home fire system for added safety and links to your home automation system. It even gives you access to your system from anywhere in the world with your smartphone.
The safest, most effective oxygenation systems on the planet.™
